Yellowjacket cross-trains personnel at various sites and works to schedule officers at sites that match their personality, their personal preference and/or by special request.

Schedules are posted at least 14 days in advance.  Lessen unnecessary stress on your personal life. ​

RECOGNITION

RECOGNITION

Officers may earn hourly bonuses based on timeliness, attitude and commendations. Additionally, personnel may be promoted every 3 to 6 months - and it actually happens! Pay raises too!

Your paycheck is accurate and on-time - always! Payroll is processed every two weeks (Friday) and can be directly deposited into your bank account. If you do not have a bank account, we have several other options to ensure you are paid promptly.

Trying to pay a bill that cannot wait until pay day? We got you! Payroll may be advanced (no fees) via Venmo or CashApp up to the amount worked to date.

The agencies blame their employees for losing contracts and the employees blame their employers for just being plain horrible. Frankly, they are all right! As a result, we have created a list of expectations and requirements in order to be a part of the Yellowjacket team.

Punctuality is an absolute requirement at Yellowjacket - from the Chief to the entry-level officer. Punctuality shows that you are professional, respect other's time, reduces your stress, and ensures your success.

SHARP UNIFORM

Uniforms are a direct reflection on your professionalism and is a major contributor to other's perception of you and of Yellowjacket. A poor fitting or wrinkled uniform can have a very negative impact on you and those around you.

You must always be aware of your surroundings and not let anything distract you. Your life and those people you are hired to protect, depend on YOUR focus. If you cannot focus or cannot put your cellphone away while on duty, Yellowjacket is not for you.

EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE

Personnel must have a MINIMUM of two years of experience as a Special Police Officer in Washington, D.C. or higher. First Responders are preferred. Specific jobs and/or ranks require military or civilian law enforcement experience.
